vacuum melting furnace precautions
The working principle of vacuum melting furnace is a special melting technology of metal and alloy under vacuum condition. It mainly includes vacuum induction melting, vacuum arc remelting and electron beam melting. With the rapid development of modern science and technology, especially the rapid development of aerospace, ocean, energy and electronic industry, the variety, output and quality of metal materials (high-grade alloy steel and alloy) are required more and more.
Vacuum melting furnace is mainly used for melting metal materials (such as stainless steel, nickel base alloy, copper, alloy steel, nickel cobalt alloy, rare earth neodymium iron polishing agent, etc.) in vacuum or protective atmosphere, and also for vacuum refining and precision casting of alloy steel.
The vacuum smelting furnace is composed of furnace cover, furnace body, furnace bottom, crucible rotating mechanism, vacuum system and medium frequency power control system. The furnace cover, body and bottom are all double-layer water-cooling structures, and the furnace shell temperature is not more than 60 ℃.
The specific operation is to open the furnace cover manually. The vacuum furnace cover is provided with an observation hole and a baffle plate. In order to add alloy elements in smelting process, alloy feeder is specially installed on furnace cover. There are induction coils in the furnace. By manually rotating the handle outside the furnace, the melt in the crucible can be easily poured into the ingot mold. The ingot mould can be designed in the form of water cooling. The upper part of the crucible is provided with a temperature measuring device. The vacuum system adopts two-stage pump, namely K-300 oil diffusion pump and 2x-70 mechanical pump. The mechanical pump is equipped with electromagnetic ventilation valve to prevent oil return after power failure. The vacuum unit is equipped with exhaust valve and charging valve.
The door of the vacuum smelting furnace is not closed tightly. Check whether the hinge of the door is loose, whether the pull button is deformed, whether the sealing belt of the door is damaged, and whether the door plate is deformed? If the fan has abnormal noise, please carefully check whether there are foreign matters in the fan wheel, or whether the screws for fixing the motor are loose. If the pneumatic valve fails to work, first check whether the corresponding solenoid valve can work normally and whether the compressed air pressure meets the working requirements? If the air pressure is normal and the solenoid valve is also good, it must be the pneumatic valve itself is broken and must be replaced.
