Introduction of vacuum suspension melting furnace technology
One of the company’s core technologies is the cold crucible suspension melting technology, which belongs to the most advanced material preparation technology. This is a technique that uses electromagnetic fields to suspend the molten pool during vacuum melting.
The technology uses split water-cooled copper crucibles to enable the electromagnetic field to enter the copper crucibles, thereby achieving the effect of heating and suspending the material.
Suspension smelting has two technical advantages:
1. Eliminate the contamination of the crucible material to the molten pool, can prepare high-purity and ultra-high-purity materials, and materials with very uniform and precise compositions;
2. Excluding the limitation of the crucible material on the melting temperature, it can obtain a melting temperature of more than 3600 degrees Celsius under the condition of induction melting, and can melt refractory metals and alloys.
Cold crucible suspension melting technology application:
1. High-purity, ultra-pure materials, such as chip-level silicon, germanium, titanium, copper, aluminum, single crystal materials, semiconductor materials, etc.Suspension melting technology can ensure their purity;
2. Active metals, such as rare metals, rare earth metals, titanium, zirconium, hafnium, chromium, uranium, plutonium, magnesium, beryllium, lithium, etc., and their alloys-induction at intermediate frequencies during smelting, these materials react violently with crucible materials;
3. Refractory metals and their alloys, such as vanadium, niobium, molybdenum, tantalum, rhenium, tungsten and their alloys with melting points of 2000°C to 3410°C-in intermediate frequency induction melting,
