Advantages of vacuum heat treatment technology
To achieve no oxidation, no decarburization heating: As the mold is heated in a vacuum state, the residual oxygen partial pressure is very low, the surface is not oxidized, not decarburization and does not form any toxic products.
Small deformation, uniform hardness: The vacuum heating mainly depends on high temperature heat radiation, low temperature convection is weak, so the heating is slow, the temperature difference between surface and inner of the workpiece is small, expansion and contraction are more uniform, resulting in less thermal stress, thereby reducing the workpiece final deformation.
Improve the plasticity and strength of the workpiece: Solid metal heat treatment in vacuum environment, the surface will has degassing effect, thereby enhancing its plasticity and strength.
Clean the surface of the workpiece: In vacuum state, the grease attached to these objects is common aliphatic, it is carbon, hydrogen, oxygen compounds. With high vapor pressure and heating in vacuum, the grease will be volatilized or decomposed, then removed by vacuum pump, which make the workpiece surface clean.
